Hey everyone!~
I am posting this entry a little late. This was my final piece for the Grand Space Opera challenge that ended a while ago. I used Photoshop CS, and a Wacom Tablet.
This piece is entitled "Ambush". It is based in a world where society is poor and oppressed by their emperor. However, it is also technologically advanced which allows people to gather used parts and build their own vehicals with almost any modification.
The scene you see here is the beginning of the civilian revolt, which occured because this society was oppressed by their emperor. The image depicts the explosion of the emperors building, and the three characters in the foreground are late for the ambush but have a great view of the activity taking place.
Hope you enjoy it, especially the people who didn't frequent the 2D entries during the challenge.
